Our Favorite Books (Toddler Edition)

We started reading to Wyatt when he was just a few weeks old. I knew before I was even pregnant that if I had a child I would be book crazy and hope my child was the same. For Christmas this year we have books on our list as always! I figured I would share some of the books we already love for anyone wanting to add some books to their toddler's holiday gift list this year!

1. This book is a favorite for our whole family! It's so fun and has such great illustrations! We originally bought it just for the humor in it but it quickly became a favorite! If you are reading to a baby or a toddler or even "big kids" this book is the perfect pick! https://amzn.to/2Tw6JDS

2. This is a book everyone knows and for good reason! This is one of my favorites to read to Wyatt when he was still really little. He would try to touch all of the scales on the page. He still enjoys this book into toddlerhood. This is a must-have. https://amzn.to/3oCWJaD

3. If you asked my husband which book of Wyatt's his favorite is he would hands down tell you it was one included in this collection. This is a bit on the pricier side because it does come with five books but you can also purchase each book individually as well! These books are so funny and so cute. The illustrations are amazing. You need at least one of these books in your library! https://amzn.to/2Tu4eC4

4. This was the first book Wyatt loved. We have read it so many times. I can't tell you anything special about this book. Something about it just grabbed his attention. It's a short read and so sweet. https://amzn.to/3ml0nDK

5. Anyone who knows me knows that I have been obsessed with this book since I was a toddler. This book is my absolute favorite children's book. The message is powerful. The book is simple. The love just pours out of this book. This is a must-have for any library for any age. https://amzn.to/3moT0Lz

6. When we were looking for shorter books to read to Wyatt when he was just a few months old I picked this up while grocery shopping. I thought the cover looked cute and it soon turned into my favorite book to read. It's fun and the perfect length. We all love this book. Warning: will make you yawn due to one page repeating the word a few times haha. https://amzn.to/35DvIeo

7. This book is a lot of fun. We love the message of the story that you can do whatever you set your mind to. It's a great length for a bedtime story. https://amzn.to/31LgN0w

8. You can't have a book list without Dr. Seuss! I'm choosing Fox in Socks because there have been nights we are too tired for a bedtime story and this is the book we chose and it's a tough one. We will take turns reading this one to Wyatt and laugh when you get a tongue twister and can't finish the page! https://amzn.to/37Nt603

9. Touch and feel books are a must for little ones. This is a favorite of Wyatt's right now.

10. This touch and feel book is our OG. Wyatt has carried this book around as long as he's been walking. He loves touching all of the animal "fur" in this one. Also, it is so small. Perfect size for them to hold themselves. https://amzn.to/37I6zSr

I could honestly do a million book lists so I'm sure there will be many more to come. I hope you enjoyed this list of our current top ten! Enjoy!
